High river flows good for Carp

  A new scientific study has discovered that high water flows contributed to an explosion in the population of Carp in the Murray and Goulburn Rivers. The Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research report, ‘Status of Fish Populations in the Lower Goulburn River (2003-2012)’ also found that aside from Golden Perch, most native species of fish did not exhibit a strong spawning response... S.A. follows N.S.W. in a predictable race to the bottom
