The University of Melbourne’s Dookie campus is offering a new diploma course that gives local students the opportunity to begin tertiary study closer to home.
The Diploma of General Studies is being delivered at the Dookie Campus in partnership with the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE and the Wodonga Institute of TAFE.

Local first year students pursuing an agriculture related degree at University have only a few weeks left to access the Horizon Scholarship. Developed by the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) in partnership with industry sponsors, the scholarship offers $5,000 for each year of the degree’s duration.

12 year old children can operate a jet ski on their own on local rivers if they hold a Restricted Marine Licence with a Personal Water Craft (PWC) Endorsement. At 16 years of age, the restrictions are removed.
